Daniel Schofield

Daniel Schofield is a British designer, now based in Copenhagen, who has a background in both graphic design and carpentry. These areas evolved into a passion for design, which led to Schofield obtaining a degree in furniture and product design at Sheffield Hallam University. He brings a thoughtful, hands-on approach to everything he creates, which has led to a series of collaborations.

His work is defined as utilitarian yet charming, and Schofield is known for appreciating the beauty in simplicity. Every design is created to be both beautiful and useful, and to be valued in order to be part of your life for a long time. Whilst exploring materials and industrial processes, his work searches for reason and places emphasis on what is essential. Daniel Schofield focuses on solving users' problems as simply as possible without unnecessary details, which adds an honest and pure aesthetic to his design.
