Artemide Discovery Suspension

An ingenious design by Ernesto Gismondi (founder of the Studio Artemide s.a.s.), the Discovery Suspension Light is an unobtrusive, immaterial and even almost absent object. Consisting of an aluminium lightweight ring in 3 colour finishes, that hosts a transparent PMMA flat surface, Discovery only becomes perceptible when switched on, and the transparent surface becomes fully illuminated. The aluminium rim hosts the LED strip, which then projects light onto the PMMA surface, and it then changes from transparent to full of light.

The Artemide Discovery Suspension uniformly emits direct and indirect light, a lighting solution that is so unique and barely perceptible in the room when switched off. Discovery is also available in a vertical orientation, allowing you to combine the two for larger interiors and commercial spaces to create an impact.
