Product Description

Kartell Upper Stepladder


The Kartell Upper Stepladder is where form and function fuse together, prioritising functionality while still boasting a bold personality. Designed by Alberto Meda and Paolo Rizzatto, Upper utilises an injection moulding process that ensures the final product is durable and tough. The steps are also slip-resistant, making them both practical and safe for daily use.

This stepladder is crafted from batch-dyed polycarbonate available in 6 striking colours. Choose between: Cobalt, Crystal, Orange Red, Smoke Grey, Amber and Powder Blue.

The Kartell Upper Stepladder can support a maximum weight of 260kg.

About the designer

Alberto Meda & Paolo Rizzatto

Alberto Meda graduated from Milan Polytechnic in 1969 with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. From 1972 to 1979 he was technical director for Kartell, where he experimented with plastic-based materials and production processes. After which he worked as a freelance designer, during this time he worked as a consultant for Gaggia and Alfa Romeo. All of this experience eventually led him to begin ...
