Designed by Jaime Hayon, the Formakami JH18 Table Lamp conveys a playful take on traditional Asian lanterns. The lightweight lamp is handcrafted from rice paper for a delicate, elegant aesthetic. The bulbous shape is accented by a black-stained oak collar and base, creating a striking contrast that enhances the JH18’s sculptural presence.

The Formakami JH18 Table Lamp’s elegant form makes it an ornamental piece, even when not in use. When switched on, the rice paper diffuses light into a soft glow. A hole in the top of the structure allows light to escape upward and fill the room, while a dimmer switch on the cable lets users adjust brightness to suit any mood.
