&Tradition Copenhagen

The Copenhagen Collection was created by Signe Bindslev Henriksen and Peter Bundgaard Rützou – the design duo that makes up the studio Space Copenhagen. They call their approach to design “Poetic Modernist”, which is reflected in this collection. Their goal is to embrace a new approach to design by working with opposites and using contrasts to create balance. The Copenhagen Collection blends the modern and the classic, the maritime and the industrial. The strong lines of the metal contrast against a delicate glass lampshade, resulting in a luminaire that exudes luxury and elegance in both classic and modern interiors.

The Copenhagen Collection includes a floor lamp, a table lamp, and a pendant in two sizes. The pendants are available in a matt black metal or opal glass finish. The metal shade is spun into shape from a single sheet, while the opal glass shade is mouth-blown. The table and floor lamps feature mouth-blown opal glass paired with a bronzed brass base. The glass shade diffuses light into a glare-free glow that surrounds the shade and fills the room with light. Perfect for adding a welcoming ambience to a living room, dining room, or study.
