Artemide Falkland

The Artemide Falkland collection was designed by Bruno Munari in 1964 and is a dramatic series of lighting solutions. Falkland boasts a spontaneous shape that is achieved by the contrasting forces of its components: the tension of a stretched tube of finely woven fabric and the weight of its inner metal rings. Falkland is available as a suspension or floor lamp, and is fitted with a singular bulb, producing an evenly diffused glow that creates a cosy atmosphere in a range of interiors. The Artemide Falkland Suspension is also available in three sizes: Falkland (165), Falkland 85 and Falkland 53, all of which can be housed individually or in multiples to create a statement.

The elastic fabric that covers the Artemide Falkland lights is fireproof, adding another unique feature to these lights and enhancing their safety. This design suits any interior, whether modern or more traditional, and its column-like silhouette complements the room, even when not in use.
