Marset Scantling P73 Floor Lamp
Marset Scantling P73 Floor Lamp is an adjustable floor lamp by Mathias Hahn, made from a lacquered iron stem and base, a solid oak arm, and a lacquered aluminium shade. The design uses simple geometric shapes, with the oak arm giving a warmer contrast against the painted metal structure. Its name refers to a wooden strip once used as a unit of measurement, especially in shipbuilding.
The P73 is the taller floor version in the Scantling collection, with an adjustable arm and fully rotational shade for directing light where it is needed. The ball joints allow the shade to be moved and held in position without exposed springs or counterweights, keeping the outline clean. This makes the lamp useful beside a sofa, lounge chair, desk, or reading corner where light needs to be aimed towards a book, work surface, or seating position.
Scantling P73 is plug-in, with a black fabric electrical cord and an integrated on/off switch built into the diffuser. It is available in Black or White finishes, both paired with oak detailing. Most suited to living rooms, reading corners, lounges, bedrooms, home offices, hotel rooms, and interiors where a floor lamp needs to provide focused, adjustable light.
