The Tom Dixon Whirl Burst LED Chandelier was inspired by the Optical Art movement, using distorted patterns to create optical illusions. The spiralled forms on each shade create layers of abstract pattern, confusing the eye through a myriad of internal reflections. The Burst Chandelier features twelve beautifully abstract polycarbonate shades, each housing an LED module within.

Each chandelier is crafted in a state-of-the-art factory in Germany. The polycarbonate shades are produced using injection blow moulding, resulting in a lightweight yet durable form. During the vacuum metallisation process, a thin layer of metal is deposited on the interior of each shade, creating the distinctive semi-metallised finish. The Whirl Burst is available in three metallic colourways, Gold, Silver and the new Copper finish.

The Whirl Burst LED Chandelier is a bold statement piece that draws the eye and captures the imagination. When illuminated, light is reflected from within, creating a mesmerising play of light and shadow. These shifting reflections bring a sense of movement to the chandelier, changing depending on the angle from which it is viewed. Display in an entrance hall, stairwell or dining room for an impactful focal point.
